IRS BUSINESS FORUM

Please mark your calendars and make plans to attend on Thursday, May 16th from 10:00 a.m. to noon. The City of New Orleans Office of Community and Economic Development and the Internal Revenue Service- Stakeholder Liaison will co-host the event. The forum will be held at the Lakeview Christian Center located at 5885 Fleur de Lis Drive, New Orleans, LA 70124.  (APA CEU’S WILL BE AWARDED)

The Small Business Forum is an open session where  ideas are exchanged, and existing issues or concerns are captured. Also, it is a great venue to network.

Key Messages from the following IRS Divisions will be discussed: Stakeholder Liaison, Taxpayer Advocacy Service, Appeals, Counsel, Criminal Investigation, Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration, etc. Tax Scams and ID Theft remain Hot Topics again this year.

For planning purposes, please notify Earline Brown or Margrett of your plans to attend by Friday, April 26th. Contact me at Earline.Brown@irs.gov or 504-202-9744 or Margrett Magee at momagee@nola.gov or 504-658-4237. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. If you have suggestions for topic discussions, please send them to me by Thursday, April 18th. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you at the forum!
